Strengthening local community based mechanisms especially of tribal people to ensure effective delivery of state run food and health services by monitoring the implementation of government schemes such as Mid day meal, ICDS, Public Distribution System, and health programmes and availability of health services in various public and private health facilities. One of the crucial components Chaupal has initiated in this regard is that of running Creches for children under the age of three years of age in the predominantly PVTG hamlets in Sarguja.
Policy Advocacy to evolve pro-poor programme design by consistently conducting surveys and getting feedback from the community with the support from CBOs and communicating back the same to government authorities at multiple levels through our publications, media coverage and representation of key members at various levels.
